Beautiful Classic 8'0" Solid Exotic Wood Surfboard. The Exotic woods have that Deep Highly Polished look that give it that Rich Beautiful Sheen.
This is a very interesting custom shaped solid wood board. It has a shovel on the underside of the nose for nose riding and a v shaped bottom starting about 2 feet from the tail, and contiues all the way out to the tail, for easy rail to rail control. Being that it is a solid laminated wood board, all those areas had to be sanded and shaped by hand out of the solid wood.This requires a high level of fine wood working craftsmanship and is very time consuming.
The board has a few cosmetic issue to make it water tight, but as a display surfboard it is very eye catching, and starts a lot of conversations about surfboard design, shaping, and surfing in general.
