This portable air conditioner is rated 10,000 BTU (ASHRAE) and 6,000 BTU (SACC).
Why am I selling this unit: I bought this unit from Amazon for about 0 a little less than a month ago. The item was supposed to have a working sleep mode, which it did not when I attempted to use sleep mode. If a dysfunctional sleep mode is a deal breaker for you, I recommend you not buy this product. Also this product is a very loud product, rated at about 63-65 decibels. If you want a portable air conditioner that is not too loud, I recommend you look for another unit.
For those with vertical or horizontal opening windows: everything needed for installation is included in the box.
For those with casement windows: everything BUT the velcro is included in the box. That being said, if you buy this product to use it on a casement window, you will have to buy or have velcro to effectively use the unit.
